 Mystical Golf News for December 22, 2009
Thank You to Christmas Child Players 2009

What a terrific turnout for the 6th annual Christmas Child Golf tournament that was held on Saturday December 19, 2009 at 10am at The Wizard Golf Links.  27 teams took on the low temperature, rain and wind for a GREAT CAUSE.  This goes to show you how much HEART that men and women have for donating money and time to a worthwhile event such as this. 

 We were able to raise over $13,000 for The Waccamaw Community Foundation – Pardue Children in Need Fund to support Lighthouse Care Center children in Conway, SC and Augusta, GA.  We provided 128 new pairs of sneakers with each child getting exactly what they requested.   We will send them to Carowinds and Six Flags Amusement Parks again this summer.

 None of this would have been possible without the many sponsors, players, staff and employees who make this tournament a huge success.
 
Mark your calendars again for next year’s tournament which will be on Saturday December 18, 2010 at The Wizard and Man O War Golf Courses.   We hope to field enough teams to fill up both golf courses next year.   See you there.
